Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Egypt, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, several travel and local apps on the Android platform in Egypt demonstrated notable performance trends. Let's take a closer look at the top five apps in this category.

flynas saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting with around 1.5K at the beginning of April and reaching over 32K by the end of June. Weekly active users also rose steadily from 21.5K to approximately 24.7K during the same period.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 14K and 22K throughout the quarter. However, active users experienced a decline from 175.8K to about 79.6K by the end of June.

Google Earth downloads varied, peaking at 25.3K in early May before settling around 9K. Its active user base remained relatively stable, averaging around 260K, with a slight dip mid-quarter.

Qatar Airways experienced a sharp drop in downloads from 18.5K in early May to just 479 in the week of June 9, before recovering to 16.2K by the end of June. Active users also fluctuated, ending the quarter at around 53.6K.

Finally, Egyptian National Railways showed a steady increase in downloads, starting at 8.6K in early April and reaching 13K by the end of June. Active users grew from 144.7K to 202.8K over the quarter.
